About the Department

The Department of Leadership Development and Professional Studies offers graduate programs designed to prepare leaders in education and global contexts. Programs include Instructional Leadership and Administration (leading to Alabama educator certification), an online Ph.D. in Global Leadership, and Adult Education with two concentrations and four certificate options. Courses are available online and at multiple campuses to fit students' needs.

The Department of Leadership Development and Professional Studies is a diverse department made up of engaged faculty and staff working to prepare students to meet the challenges of the local, national and global environments awaiting them upon graduation.
